Shipping Your Summit Supplies

Order Processing

We pack orders with the same precision we’d use preparing for Everest:

  • Orders typically process within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends/holidays)
  • You’ll receive tracking information via email once your gear ships

Shipping Options

Choose the route that matches your expedition timeline:

Standard Shipping ($12.95)

  • Carriers: DHL or FedEx
  • Delivery: 10-15 business days after shipping
  • Best for time-sensitive gear needs

Free Shipping (Orders $50+)

  • Carrier: EMS
  • Delivery: 15-25 business days after shipping
  • Ideal for planned expeditions

Note: Delivery times may vary for international destinations (excluding some Asian and remote regions). Customs delays are possible.

Our Return Promise

We stand behind our gear like we stand behind our belay partners. If your equipment doesn’t meet your needs, we’ll make it right.

  • 15-day return window from delivery date
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, with all tags and original packaging
  • Original shipping costs non-refundable (unless our error)
  • Free shipping orders: $12.95 deducted from refund

Safety-First Non-Returnable Items

For your protection, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Climbing Harnesses (once removed from packaging)
  • Climbing Helmets (potential impact concerns)
  • Belay & Rappel Devices (safety-critical equipment)
  • Base Layer Bottoms & Tops (intimate apparel)
  • Biwak Sacks (emergency/survival gear)

All non-returnable items are clearly marked on product pages.

The Return Process

Returning gear is as straightforward as following a well-marked trail:

Step 1: Request Authorization

Email [email protected] within 15 days with:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you want refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Instructions

We’ll email a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions within 48 hours.

Step 3: Pack Securely

Include all original packaging, tags, and accessories. Use the original box if possible – think of it as packing for a summit attempt.

Step 4: Ship Back

We’ll email when your return is processed (typically within 3-5 business days of receipt).

Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Credit Card/PayPal: Refunds process within 3-5 business days (additional 3-5 days for your bank to post)
  • Original Payment Method: Always credited for refunds
  • Damaged/Defective Items: Replaced at no additional cost

Exchange Process

Need a different size or color? Follow the same steps as returns, but specify “Exchange” in your request. We’ll ship your new item as soon as we process your return (stock permitting).

Expedition Notes:

  • International returns may take longer due to customs
